PAW has staged a convention in Plymouth every year since 1983.

Here are a few pictures of the 2004 event, which took place over the weekend of February 7th/8th.  Special thanks to Clive Dudley for taking these pictures.

This page has pictures of some of the Trophy winning games.  Other participation and display games are on this page, and pictures of the Competition games are here.   Results of the Competitions can be found through the Results Page

This Deadlands skirmish from Chris Pearce and Huw Dampney took the Best Participation Game prize.  Players seemed to be having a great time all weekend.   Deadlands01.JPG (87279 bytes) Deadlands02.JPG (71955 bytes)

Since there weren't any really good 15mm armies on show, the judges decided to award Gary Watson the Best Painted 15mm Trophy for these WWII Russians and Germans

Jimmy Walton was awarded the Best Painted 25mm Trophy for these Medieval Germans, being used in the DBM Competition by Ian Walkley

Jimmy was also playing in the DBM competition, using these excellent Early Germans, here seen facing off Andy Unwin's Assyrians.  We especially liked the baggage elements, which included Cheerleaders and half-naked Barbarian Women!
