A lot of people spent a great deal of effort to bring Demonstration and Participation games to the show. Here are a few that caught the eye of our photographers. The pictures here are thumbnails: click on them to see a larger picture |

| Science Fiction games of all sorts were very
popular this year. Here, PAW Chairman Chris Wingate lends a hand in the Warhammer 40K Combat Patrol games put on by PAW Events Organiser Clive Dudley |

These games attracted a lot of younger players during the course of the show, and are proving an excellent introduction to new players. |
|
| PAW members Ken Hockney, Paul Dennis and others provided some Classic 40K games, using earlier versions of the rules |

|
| Orlando Murrish ran games of
WizKid's MechWarrior all weekend, providing support for Rob Cowan,
who was running MechWarrior, HeroClix and Pirates
competitions, with prizes provided by TOPPS. The large drop ship
seen here was part of this prize support, and was won by the player who
contributed the most to capturing it during Sunday's game. As usual with Orlando's games, the scenery was excellent. |

| Matt Beasley, a former PAW member who now lives in Keynsham, came down to help out as well. Here we see him pondering a HeroClix game. |

Show regular Colin 'Smudger' Smith brought along this truly awesome large scale Rogue Trader game. All the buildings and vehicles were scratch built, and the figures were conversions from GI Joe action figures bought at car boot sales. The game used a variant of the Warhammer 40K rules. |

Favourites amongst the many nice pieces that Colin had built
were this Thunderhawk Gunship, complete with interior detail in the cockpit,
and an Ork mercenary fighter. |

Past PAW Chairman Chris Thomas ran games of his Duelling System throughout the weekend. Martin Goodwin and Scott Descombe ran Shadowfist and other collectible card games on both days. |

|
David Davies from Torbay laid on this very nice 25mm Seven Years War game, using the Age of Reason rules. |
