| PAW has staged a convention in Plymouth every
year since 1983.
Here are a few pictures of the 2006 event, which took place over the weekend of February 4th/5th. Special thanks to Clive Dudley and John Orange for supplying the pictures. This page has pictures of some of the Trophy winning games. Other participation and display games are on this page, and pictures of the Competition games are here. Pictures of the Traders that supported the show can be found here. | Here's what was up for grabs: the trophies! Several of these were specially painted by club member Kevin Shillito | And here's the first winner: Colin "Smudger" Smith took Best Participation Game for his Call My Bluff Double Blind Beach Assault game. | |
| This was a very clever game, with players making their moves unable to see their opponents. They then had a brief glimpse through the door in the screen, when they could call down some fire on the opposite beach. Lots of fun for all the players, and amusing for the spectators, as well! |

| Next we have the 15mm Siege of Badajoz
game from Philip Martin and his team, which was awarded Best
Demonstration Game.
This featured 19th and early 20th century buildings inside earlier Vaubin style fortifications, combined with nicely painted models and an enthusiastic set of players, who were always willing to answer questions and explain what they were doing. |

| Next we have the Peter Pig team with their Bloody Barons game, which took the Best Game prize. They ran it as both a Demo and a Participation game at different times, and made an impression on our judge with their patience in explaining the way the rules worked to new players. | ||
