| PAW has staged a convention in Plymouth every
year since 1983.
Here are a few pictures of the 2009 event, which took place over the

| Once again, a large number of
people worked hard to bring display games of various sorts to the show.
We'd like to thank them all for their efforts, and we look forward to seeing

| The Best Participation Game
went to Colin (Smudger) Smith for his Streets of Glory 54mm

The Warhammer Fantasy tournament was popular again this year, with 26
players. The competition uses a seven-round Fast Play format developed
by umpire Kevin Shillito Steve Pearse was 1st, with Wood Elves |

| The Warhammer 40K competition was
slightly down on last year, with 30 players. Rob Cowan umpired,
and the whole competition was played in a friendly and enjoyable style. |

This year we elected to use the Field of Glory rules for both of our
Ancients competitions, umpired by Andy Clarke The 25mm Ancients competition was played in that friendly style only possible to players who have known each other for many years. |
