This year it was attended by 8 players who played 4 games on pre-set and unusual terrain over the weekend. As warned the rules sometimes proved variable. It would appear this format was popular (though the cunning plan threw up turnips), with the players saying they enjoyed the challenges. I certainly enjoyed setting it and meeting the players.

As usual it was them who made the weekend a success and a success was what I believe it was. My thanks for making the job so easy and enjoyable. Next year Mark Gilby will run it, and I promise no turnips.

Second place was a tie when Mat was awarded one point for a bye (snow en route prevented him playing game 1). He graciously said that he felt Dan should have it, having played all games. Congratulations to you both, and to Richard for a fine win.
